This statue greets patrons entering the Children's Library where I work. Geddy always stops to admire his baseball, glove and hat. A few weeks ago we had this conversation:Me: "Geddy, what is the boy doing?"
Geddy: "Reading the Book of Mormon."
Me: (a little surprised by the specifics of his answer) "How do you know it's the Book of Mormon?"
Geddy: (with a duh, isn't it obvious tone to his voice) "They are the Golden Plates Mom!"

Too funny!!! He is so related to Joshua...sounds like something he would've said at that age (or even still). Too smart for their own good sometimes!

..although perhaps one would have expected them to be the brass plates. ( ;
