Children's Discovery Museum Part 1

 After the planetarium we went to the Gateway Children's Discovery Museum. A very misnamed and overpriced facility. There is nothing resembling a museum here. It is just a gigantic playhouse. An extremely fun thing for the kids, but absolutely nothing for the parents to really do as everything is child-size, yet the parents have to pay the same as for the children. Ridiculously high price for what you get, thank goodness I had a coupon!

Outer Space Adventure

We spent a few hours at the Hansen Planetarium last month. Geddy absolutely loved it! He especially enjoyed watching the Space Pirate movie in the domed theater. He proclaimed it as "AWESOME" and wants to do it more often.

Library Crafts

Every week during June and July the library has a Make-and-Take Craft time. Several hundred kids and parents come to these so it can be quite chaotic. Thankfully I have an "in" with the girls in charge and they let me do "Take-and-Make" with Geddy instead. This year's summer reading theme was "One World, Many Stories" so each week focused on a different area around the world. These pictures are from the week they did Africa.
