My Globe-Trotting Son

As we were sitting in church today, I was tucking in the tag on Geddy's sweater. I noticed that it said the sweater was made in Israel..I am used to everything saying "Made in China", not Israel. But that made me curious about the rest of his outfit. Turtleneck - Pakistan. Pants - Bangladesh. Iron Man underwear - El Salvador. Finally, shoes - China. So it was kind of a strange thought to think of Geddy wearing articles of clothing that have been in so many different countries that he physically will probably never see!

First snow of 2009

The first snow of 2009 was around November 15, at least that is when all these pictures were taken. Yes, we still had our jack-o'-lantern out on the porch. It was a lovely mess of ice and mold when I tossed it in the trash. We leave it for so long because Geddy has issues with it being thrown away. I think he thinks of it as a living thing. He gets upset and cries every year when Scott starts cutting into it. And then he cries again when we have to throw it away.

I couldn't resist posting a picture of Spanky. He has taken to sleeping on Geddy's bed (when Geddy isn't there of course)! It has caused a few problems. One time I was putting Geddy on his bed for timeout. I dumped Ged right on his big blanket. Well Spanky quickly let us know that he was napping under the blanket and didn't appreciate the rude awakening. This gives me hope that the two boys will one day get along!

As Geddy would say, "Stupid Dumb Idiot Computer"!

My computer has been a royal pain in the ... neck! It has been excruciatingly difficult to download photos from my camera. However, a miracle occurred this morning and after several dozen attempts, my photos are now on my computer. So look forward to a fun update with lots of silly photos soon.
