The Best Christmas Present Ever!!!!!!!!!!!

Geddy created and wrapped two presents all on his own for Scott and me. The first contained this lovely Christmas tree picture. He spent a great deal of time drawing individual snowflakes. And in case you are wondering, that is a house next to it.

 The second package was the best. They speak for themselves for the most part. I will caption those that need a little clarification. He does spell better than this when he takes time to think about it - meaning at school.

Notice, I have more exclamation points? I wonder if that means anything?

"Your the best parents ever. in the whole universe and history and beyond".

I think the crumpled bit of paper I found a few weeks ago in his room was the beginning of this poem. How sweet can you get, "I do. forever and ever".

I wish he took advice...he told me it was the only thing he could think of that rhymed with nice.

My personal favorite: "(P.S.) You might not know any peaple that are blind". Again, he was struggling to rhyme with kind. I love it!

He said he didn't have any money or a way to go to the store by himself so he couldn't buy us a present so he just had to make something. (By the way we did help him buy presents for each other - he just wanted something totally of his own). But this was absolutely the best present he could give us!

The Death Star was destroyed in record time. Love how it took me over an hour to fill up a million - okay not really that many, but I lost count - water balloons only have them launched and destroyed within five minutes.

 It was a fun party though quite chaotic. I always think I plan enough games, but they happen so fast or kids don't want to do them. There was a cake with Luke and Darth Vader on it. Unfortunately Scott was busy with something else so I had a hard time carrying the cake and taking pictures at the same time. All in all it turned out great.He is already planning next year on a Sports themed party. That should be easy and fun. We will see if he changes his mind before then.

I realize I have been quite a blog-slacker lately. Life gets kind of busy, you know. I can't say we have done anything exciting though, definitely not blog-worthy.

Geddy's school has a week where they focus on talking about being drug-free and bully-free. Each day there is a different theme for them to dress up as. This is the only day I took a picture, Western Day. Such a cute little cowboy.
