A Lucky Moment

We were having a crazy thunder/rain storm on Saturday. I dashed out to check on my container plants. I glanced down the backyard and this is what I saw.

I ran in and hollered at Geddy to come see and then began a frantic search for the camera.

Geddy spotted the faint double rainbow first.

We don't often see rainbows, especially not the full arch of one.

Disregard the fence, winter was not kind to it. But at least now we have a summer project...

I love how you can see the sheets of rain streaking across the rainbow too.

He is sad because I told him he couldn't run across the street where it looked like the rainbow was touching down. He wanted to hunt down the pot of gold.

See, it looked so close...
