Oops! We're Going Retro for This One (May 2011)

So back in May of 2011, Cheryl and Shauna came to visit. We went to the aquarium (everyone except Aunt Shauna who wasn't feeling well). I found this half-finished post and thought I would start over so it will show up at the top. Lots of pictures, little text, I don't remember all of the names now. Just be glad I am not in the mood to mess with our photo program, there are even more pictures that would be cool if I could lighten them up a bit. Oh well, maybe another time. Enjoy. And notice this is only about 8 months ago, and Geddy looks so much younger. I guess Kindergarten really does age you!

This frog was hilarious in his method of ascent.
He was "driving" a boat.
Serious Captain.

An ancient lobster.

I love the little teeny tiny sea-horses - so bizarre looking.
This little guy was quite creepy with its mouth and eyes (at least I think that's what they were). And it kept scooting around on the bottom.
The ocean is certainly home to a lot of weirdness!
I realize it is blurry, but I love all the fins, almost like feathers.
Geddy said, "we found Nemo". I don't think he has even seen the movie yet.
Grandma Cheryl, Geddy and Scott.
A rare family picture. Yes, I have stitches between my eyes. We will save that story for another post.

An unusual specimen that has been around since the dinosaurs - at least that is what I think it said.
Another day we took a picnic to Salem Pond. It is such a peaceful place.

Adorable little ducklings.
Geddy and his Aunt Shauna.
Disclaimer: I know there are a lot of pictures of Geddy. For those of you that get tired of seeing Geddy, keep the following in mind. 1 - this blog is maintained largely to give grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles a chance to see Geddy grow up since they all live so far away. 2- I am by no means a scrapbooker, nor will I ever be. This is how I keep track of our life. Someday I will have the money to get these printed and bound. In the meantime enjoy lots of pictures of the cutest, silliest, smartest boy in the world!
