Halloween 2010

Our Halloween "hang-ups" as Geddy calls them. They are kind of spooky, this is the first year he wasn't afraid of them.
 The Jack-O-Lantern Family
The normal Halloween village - not too spooky.
Our giant pet spider is catching his dinner.
Geddy is walking like a zombie.
 Our scary Halloween Village.
 Happy Halloween Boy!
The cutest little Ninja I have ever seen! Excitedly awaiting his party. I had planned on giving him a birthday party this year (in July), but he wanted to wait and have a Halloween party instead.
Batwiches and mini-mummies for the party.
 Party food.
Braddock, our first guest, and the only one I got a picture of!
Everyone watching Geddy's favorite Halloween movie, Spooky Bats and Scaredy Cats and eating the food.
Our "Put the skeleton together game". The kids were blindfolded and given a bone to attach to the skeleton. Can you tell which was the before and which the after?

Those brave enough to be turned into mummies! And they loved it so much they each did it a couple of times.
Coloring pictures in the aftermath of the mummies escape from their wrappings.

We did manage to carve our pumpkin the day of Halloween. Geddy designed the face this year and Scott and I carved it. Geddy still gets a wee bit disturbed by the gutting and carving process. He also is usually quite upset when it is time to throw it away. He was saved that trauma this year because someone stole it off our porch a couple days after Halloween.

What great decorations! And your party turned out SO cute! I really love the food (and it looks very yummy, too)--so clever! I think it's funny Geddy's still bothered by the pumpkin carving and tossing. Did someone "steal" it or was it really taken?
