For the third weekend in a row we have had nothing but yucky, cold weather. No snow this time, just lots of rain. Utah is weird, we were up in the 80's all week long. We knew it was going to happen. We actually had made plans to take Geddy to Thanksgiving Point in Lehi for a Scarecrow Festival for kids. He would've loved it. When we woke up and saw (heard) the weather we knew it wasn't going to happen. So we went out to lunch and browsed a couple of stores.
We then came home and watched the redone Godzilla vs. Mothra. Geddy quite enjoyed the monsters and roared right along with them. The roar of Godzilla is exactly like the dinosaur roar in some books he got from Grandma Lorrayne, so he kept pushing the button on the books as well as voicing his own roar. He even laughed at some of the battle scenes. After the movie he chased his Dad around the living room, roaring and waving his hands. We think he was trying to copy Godzilla because he has never done that particular thing before. Geddy also enjoyed dancing to Dad's 80's music and then playing Nerf basketball with Dad. So despite the change in plans, Geddy still enjoyed his day.
His molars have been bothering him for several days. I can feel the bulges where they are coming in. Finally today I felt a couple of sharp points on his two upper gums. That is probably why he didn't sleep very well the last couple of nights. At least he is not running a fever with these like he has with all of his other teeth. I will try and get some videos on here tomorrow of Geddy's dance moves. I haven't had a chance to pick out the best ones yet.
I can't resist putting another 'one year ago today' picture on. He looks so tiny. Now instead of calmly sleeping on those couch cushions, he is always pulling them off and hiding under them or wrestling with dad on them. Time is going way too fast.
