Here is the lovely weather we woke up to on Sunday morning. On Saturday it rained all day again, for the fourth weekend in a row! Of course, the snow was all melted by late afternoon, but it was still cold. We have given up planning family activities for the weekend. And who knows if we'll ever get any yard work done. The only thing to be happy about is all the moisture we are getting in the mountains, it is much needed.
Geddy quite enjoys "reading" books. Any kind of book! His recent favorites are "Ripley's Believe it or Not: Special Edition 2008", "Dangerous Creatures: Kingfisher Knowledge", "The Concise Animal Encyclopedia" and "Plumbing 1-2-3". I guess he just loves real pictures. He likes regular picture books as well, but he will spend literally hours turning the pages of any book with photographs, especially animals. I probably shouldn't encourage him by bringing some of these books home from work, they'll probably give him nightmares. I do bring him storybooks as well. Some of the ones he has enjoyed lately are "Lion King 1 1/2", "Play Ball", "Backbeard and the Birthday Suit" and "Slippers Loves to Run". I guess I should have just said the kid loves books and left it at that!
I know it has been awhile since I have added anything, and last time I promised video of Ged's dance moves. I hope to do that soon. I am still trying to pick my favorite as well as getting new footage. The problem is, if he knows he is being recorded, he never performs.
