More May Adventures

We went to an Astronomy Festival at BYU. We saw a planetarium show, made rockets and received special glasses so we could watch the upcoming eclipse. This is Geddy running through the field getting ready to launch his rocket.

We tried driving the Nebo Loop for Grandma Cheryl. However, the road was closed partway up so we just went back to a favorite little picnic spot of ours. This photo is Scott exploring a little path. Geddy was too paranoid to join him. He thought there might be bears or Sasquatches lurking about.

Outside of the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Every time we go Geddy has to have his picture taken on these rocks.

Getting up close and personal with a trilobite.

Geddy conquering his fear of the dark and disconcerting star tunnel. He said he was pretending he was Silver Surfer cruising through outer space!

Goofy kid pretending he had been attacked by the large trilobites behind him.

Just a little creepy.

He kept asking me to take his picture with one display or another, then he would try to pose "cool".

Pretending he is the dinosaur and growling.

Geddy and Grandma.

Teamwork - building a magnetic dinosaur.

Geddy took this absolutely stunning picture of us.

Trying to overcome another fear - the big, scary, bloody shark statue!

You have to love 3-D glasses!

The gardens at Thanksgiving Point are gorgeous!

Beautiful lilypads.

Greedy, spoiled Koi were literally climbing on top of each other to get to the food we were throwing in. I will try to post a video later, the sound they made and their mouths were kind of disturbing.

Reaching out and touching one of the waterfalls from behind it.

I will have to figure out a way to photo-shop that fencing out of the way - love the background.
Yet another fear that had to be conquered that day. I forced him on the first time, then he loved it so much he wanted to keep riding and riding all day.
Notice that he picked the smallest pony out there.

Then for his second ride he picked the biggest!

Adorable little goats at the petting farm.
Grandma and Geddy enjoying our buggy ride around the farm.
