Amazing the difference one year makes!

Wow! It has been exactly one year since I took this picture. He was so little. His face was always expressive, even at that age. He loved (and still does) to raise and wiggle those little eyebrows.
Little did I know just how expressive and silly he would get in just one short year. Now that he has discovered his tongue, there are endless possibilities. In church on Sunday he was waving, 'hello' to everyone and then sticking his tongue out. I took this picture yesterday. I was trying to get him to smile so I could send a picture to his Dad at work. At least there is a smile behind the tongue!

It's amazing how quickly the grow, isn't it!! I love the tongue picture...to cute! Hey, I "know" the sister of Marlane Kennedy that wrote the pumpkin book. Her sister, Marsha, is a member of the Trixie board and she's been on there about as long as I have and we've emailed often in the past (she was a teacher and then principal). Anyway, someone posted about it on the TB board last week and it's already on my list of books to order and then I saw it on your list.
